An alluring and sophisticated Rosé style with a beautiful pale rose gold hue. This is the 6th vintage release for this label and like all of the Arras wines from the remarkable 2008 vintage has wonderful elegance and vibrancy.
Enticing and complex with nuances of sea spray, jasmine flowers, lanolin and grapefruit pith.
Characters of spice, natural yoghurt, lemon meringue, fresh oyster and truffle are expressed throughout the palate. This wine has great elegance of structure with a perfectly balanced dosage, tannin and acidity.
The vines were fruitful due to the warm weather of the previous year and fruit yield was expected to be above average. It is proving to be a vintage year for wines of elegance and great aging potential.
Suggestion: Fresh seafood either natural or with a light influence of Asian spices.
Fastidious viticulture and winemaking are applied in crafting this traditional method wine. Maturation for a minimum of 9 years in tirage ensures depth and complexity consistent with the worlds’ finest cuvees.
